Sports Programme (New for 2017)

The primary role of the Chelsea Independent College Fitness and Wellbeing programme is to integrate London’s Sport and Fitness culture into student lifestyles. This will benefit their physical and mental health improving academic prowess. Sport and exercise sessions implemented around academic timetables will hone your child’s focus and clarity of thought, perfecting study capabilities. Soft skills that are highly valued by employers and professionals are also grown through development of communication skills through working with their peers. London’s thriving fitness culture which rapidly is growing to become a universal academy of excellence will now be echoed at Chelsea Independent College. Access is also available for bespoke one-to-one sport training, advanced personal training, running coaching and sports technique advancement. All one-to-one sessions are conducted by experienced registered fitness professionals outside of academic hours. The Fitness and Wellbeing programme aims to introduce regular enjoyable physical activity to every student giving them the best chances of success in their education.

person“I am dedicated to providing a lifestyle health and fitness service across the family spectrum, with a primary focus on acquiring new sports skills. For children in the age bracket of 12-18 the service boasts Active training, Rehabilitation and Performance coaching. This programme will bridge the gap between intense schooling and academic life through our unique regime. This training optimises your educational performance, confidence and communications skills while getting you fit having a good time. Sessions give you the physiological advantages in body and mind to fully focus on tasks at hand.”


Sebastian has also had extensive experience working with a number of professional teams including; New Zealand All Blacks, Queens Park Rangers FC, London Welsh RFC and Fiji Sevens Rugby. During his time working with these teams he has developed a wealth of knowledge about healthy living, maintaining exercise routines and optimising skills and performance in a huge variety of sports and activities.
